Community Service Activities
Mr. Smith currently serves on the Pacific Grove City Council since being elected in November 2016. He previously served on the Pacific Grove Planning Commission from 2014-2016.  In addition, he has served on the boards of the Monterey County Bar Association and Foundation.
 

Other Experience Highlights
Prior to joining Noland Hamerly Etienne & Hoss, Mr. Smith practiced law for over 10 years in Santa Barbara and Monterey counties.  From 2006 to 2013, Mr. Smith served as a deputy district attorney, prosecuting a range of criminal matters and handling numerous jury trials through verdict. He was selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers attorney rating service in 2016.
