Robert D. Simpson, a shareholder attorney in the law firm of Noland Hamerly Etienne & Hoss, with offices in Salinas and Monterey, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Legal Services for Seniors of Monterey County (LSS), a vital resource for local senior residents. LSS, a long established local non-profit, provides legal services at no charge to Monterey County seniors 60 years of age and older, with emphasis on the disadvantaged.
Mr. Simpson’s practice focus is estate planning, probate, trust and estate administration, and litigation. He has extensive experience in all phases of estate planning, administration and litigation, and is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in probate, estate planning and trust law. Mr. Simpson holds the highest rating “AV Preeminent” from Martindale-Hubbell. He is a graduate of the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada at Las Vegas.
The Noland Hamerly firm has a long-held commitment to community service, with most of its 14 attorneys serving one or more non-profit or civic organizations. The firm’s involvement with Legal Services for Seniors goes back some 35 years, when NHEH attorney Steve Pearson helped establish the non-profit organization and he still serves on its Advisory Council. In recent years, attorneys Chuck Des Roches and Leslie Finnegan each served on the LSS Board.
