Noland Hamerly Attorneys Support WELI Program at Hartnell College

Anne Secker and Leslie Finnegan, attorneys with Noland Hamerly, recently attended the annual Women’s Educational Leadership Initiative Forum, sponsored by Hartnell College.

The Women’s Educational Leadership Initiative (WELI) is a program created by local women leaders to support students of Hartnell College.  WELI is designed to increase the leadership capacity, workforce skills, college enrollment, and college completion rate of women, single parents, and re-entry students in the Salinas Valley.  The program supports students who are socially, educationally and economically disadvantaged.

WELI is a highly successful program resulting in 81% of its participants completing their education.
The national average completion rate is 38%.
