Other Experience Highlights
While earning his JD, Will assisted in legal research, screening, and analysis for Mental Health Advocacy Services in Los Angeles as an Americorps Equal Justice Works member. Also while at Pepperdine, he was second chair with the FINRA Financial Arbitration Clinic, representing plaintiffs in securities fraud cases. (FINRA is the financial industry national regulatory association.) Mr. Shearer is a native of Monterey.
Community Service Activities
Mr. Shearer serves on the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Monterey County Free Libraries, which helps to fund a variety of programs at 17 libraries throughout the County. He serves on the Board of Trustees of York School, his high school alma mater.
