About Danny

Practice

Danny Little loves breaking down complex legal problems for clients and turning them into easily digestible concepts and solutions. He is a firm believer in evaluating the practical impacts of an issue, not just the legal ones. Many aspects of business and life are tradeoffs – clients are often faced with trying to find the optimal balance of flexibility, nimbleness, and efficiency on one hand, and effective policies, procedures, and risk protections on the other. Danny works with small to medium sized businesses, nonprofits, physicians and health care providers, mutual water companies, and individuals on a wide variety of governance, business, and real estate matters to help them make informed decisions about the appropriate solutions for their particular circumstances.

Background

Danny grew up in Texas and lived all over the state. He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2011 from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business and immediately after went to work as a Forensic Technology and Discovery Services staff consultant for Ernst & Young, a global professional services firm. He then attended the University of Texas School of Law, during which he got the opportunity to clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office, Southern District of Texas. After graduation and passing the bar, Danny joined a boutique law firm in Austin, Texas counseling some of the nation’s largest hospital chains on transactional matters.

In 2018, Danny and his wife, Amanda, a Salinas native, moved to Monterey County when Danny joined Noland Hamerly. Outside of the firm, Danny volunteers with the California Rodeo Salinas, serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of CASA of Monterey County, and is a member of the Downtown Salinas Rotary Club. He loves watching Texas Longhorns sports, running and biking, spending time outside with his family, and learning something new.
