OFFICE COORDINATOR – Monterey

OFFICE COORDINATOR — MONTEREY

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic office coordinator to join our team. This position is the firm’s initial front desk point of contact with clients and potential clients. The ideal candidate is a “people person” who is organized, detail-oriented, possesses a positive/friendly attitude, has excellent communication skills and is able to work independently. The position will involve lots of in person and phone contact with clients, light secretarial work, ordering office supplies, and managing vendors. This is a full-time, 8 AM – 5 PM position in our law office in Monterey.

Pay: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour

REQUIREMENTS:
– Proficient in MS Office programs.
– Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
– Must be able to multitask with minimal errors.
– Two or more years’ experience as a receptionist and/or secretary

ACCOUNTING CLERK – Salinas

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a full-time Accounting Clerk.  As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of financial concepts.

Duties:

  • Prepare and process invoices for clients
  • Review and verify billing data for accuracy and completeness
  • Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues
  • Maintain client accounts and update billing information as needed
  • Generate monthly financial reports related to billing activities
  • Assist with credit analysis and collection efforts
  • Perform account analysis and reconciliation
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper billing procedures are followed
  • Provide excellent client service by responding to inquiries and resolving billing-related concerns
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in billing or accounting is preferred but not required
  • Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform accurate calculations
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle management processes is a plus
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with journal entries, accounts payable, and account reconciliation is beneficial
  • Previous experience in public accounting is a plus

CIVIL LITIGATION ATTORNEY — MONTEREY / SALINAS

Experience in civil litigation necessary.  The position requires the ability to take cases from start to finish, draft pleadings, discovery, and motions, negotiate effectively, and present cases in mediations, arbitrations and trials.  Significant client contact will be a part of this position and remote work may be available if needed.  Excellent writing skills a must. Salary of $90K – $200K per year, depending on experience.
