About Sierra
Practice
Sierra Rhodes is a member of the Trusts and Estates practice group at the NHEH Salinas office. Sierra’s practice focuses on estate planning, litigation, and probate and trust administration.
Background
Sierra was born and raised on the Central Coast and grew up in both Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz. She graduated from California State University, Monterey Bay with a B.A. in Humanities and Communication. During college, Sierra had internships at California Rural Legal Assistance in Salinas and at Legal Services for Seniors in Seaside. Before moving to Southern Arizona for law school, Sierra worked as a full-time legal advocate at Legal Services for Seniors in Seaside.
In law school, Sierra served as the Senior Note Editor for the Arizona Law Review, a fellow in the Workers’ Rights Clinic, a law clerk for the Pipeline Legal Action Network Treaty Rights Defense Team, and a Summer Law Clerk at the United States Environmental Protection Agency. After law school, Sierra worked as a fellow at Step Up to Justice and a staff attorney at Southern Arizona Legal Aid.
In her free time, Sierra enjoys mountain biking, hiking, swimming in the ocean, and painting.
